the two sphere objects, which define and connect two places on the globe, make something visible, which can be found at any place on earth but however, the marking finally manifests it in such a way that it touches our mind an hart. it creates special places - thinking places... project "downunder" was only possible because of people being ready to be involved. to them my thanks belong. in early summer 2004 a helicopter flight and a visit on board of a container ship in rotterdam was very impressing being part of a group exhibition at the museum of art in olten with the title "art in hand baggage" was a nice oportunity to present project downunder. the two years work created contacts that open new possibilities. the work in the internet will continue with phase 3. switzerland, lenzburg, december 2004, © arlette ochsner
